When you were 7, all you needed was unconditional love. To know you have tremendous value,
independent of what you do or don't do, irrespective of any comparison to others. That you are loved
and valued and wonderful, absolutely and empirically, because you are you... Instill that deeply in a
child and then life's pains will be mostly viewed as mere barriers to conquer.
